Mid-Florida Airport was founded over 50 years ago in 1967, long before the current changes in its neighboring landscapes and developments.

As the airport grew and expanded, much has also changed in Lake County. Despite the neighborhood growth, one thing has stood the test of time: this peaceful airport is a little slice of heaven tucked between Downtown Mount Dora and Downtown Eustis.

Mid-Florida Airport has been under its current family-owned and operated management for over 15 years, since 2005.

Whenever you fly in, be sure to check out all the fun and charm of downtown Mount Dora and downtown Eustis, only 3 miles away…

Downtown Mount Dora

Founded in the late 1880’s, Mount Dora is a historic town that has masterfully preserved its architecture and spirit, perched along beautiful Lake Dora. Famous for historic architectural sites including the Donnelly House and the Lakeside Inn; natural beauty in its mossy oak trees and string of lakes; and unique boutiques, cafe’s and antique shops, this city is easily one of the most charming in all of the South.
